in santa rosa. napa also reporting fog this morning. 40-degrees in walnut creek. temperatures up by a few degrees. around the bay area starting off similar to how we woke up yesterday morning. 41 palo alto. 45 outside your door in belmont. and again that little bit of patchy fog there. the on shore breeze will make its way back later this afternoon into the early evening hours. for the time being we continue with this northerly flow. you can see a close up view of the satellite and radar. the high clouds that continue to sweep across the area. this will be the case for today. the ridge of high pressure still in control of our weather pattern. it will shift right over the west coast and we'll remain here for today. as i back this up a little bit farther this system here will be what will plow into the ridge. this system will ride over it. it's not going to bring us any rain but it will cool us down. it will strengthen our on shore breeze. and tuesday night into wednesday perhaps a little bit of rain. so today 70-degrees expected for santa rosa. 67 for berkeley. low 60s in san francisco. up
is 47 and 39 in santa rosa and novato and 37 at petaluma. it is 42 in napa, and sausalito, dress for 46. we will start off clear and cool with clouds by the afternoon hours. we have wet weather for tuesday and wednesday and dry and warmer headed into another spring weekend. temperatures in the upper 60's to 70 in the santa clear valley and mid-to-upper 60's on the peninsula and upper 50's to near 60 along the coast and warmer in downtown, south san francisco and sausalito and low-to-mid 60's and upper 60's to low 70's through the north bay valley and the beeps are at 58 to 60 and mid-60's along the east bay shore and temperatures are close to average there. we will be in the upper 60's to near 70 in the east bay valley. everyone is cloudy by the afternoon. the clouds will keep our temperatures up with low to upper 40's inland valleys and upper 40's to near 50 into san francisco. here is what happens tomorrow morning, cloud cover and you can see why it is milder and the clouds are thicker through the day and they will drop light rain around 2:00 or 3:00 in the north bay. the rest of us g

girl is now safe at a relatives house in santa rosa tonight. jenica fredrick disappeared thursday morning from her home in cobb. she was reportedly upset about something before she went missing. many rescue crews -- including some from the bay area -- assisted in the search. which continued into today when fredrick's parents got a call from a relative saying that she was at their house safe and sound. areas of downtown martinez and the waterfront park were vandalized. it happened between thursday evening and early friday morning. officials say the people responsible used spray paint.mostly marking the words "asher" and y-b. most of the damage is at around the skateboard park and is estimated at 8,000-10,000 dollars as a result of the vandalism, there is the potential closure of the skate park. >> temperatures in the fifties. spectacular visibility sunshine tomorrow and the east bay valleys will see mid 70's. changes however, with cooler temperatures some clouds over california. this part of a weather system and remember you can watch the weather forecast whenever it is convenient

?t be the same without marcus. reporting in santa rosa, j.r. stone kron 4 news. this wednesday toll takers will be gone from the golden gate bridge. kron4's charles clifford has everything you need to know for the change over. >> reporter: the golden gate bridge has 6 lanes of traffic. the number of lanes travelling in each direction on the bridge changes throughout the day based on traffic flows. at the toll plaza, which is on the southern end of the bridge, there are 11 eleven toll lanes. only cars traveling south into san francisco have to pay tolls...northbound travel is free. currently, at the toll plaza, the southbound lanes on the left are fastrak only, the rest accept fastrak or cash, via toll takers. the number of each type of toll lane varies depending on how the bridge lanes are configured. but after the conversion to all electronic tolling all of the of the toll lanes will function in the same way. every lane will become an electronic toll lane and there will no longer be toll takers accepting cash. fastrak will continue to work at all of the lanes and for drivers who don't hav
